land acknowledgment statement

We, the SJICN team and community, humbly acknowledge that the San Juan Islands archipelago is the traditional territory of the Straits Salish and Coast Salish peoples. We resolve to bring indigenous voices and wisdom to the forefront as we strive to become better stewards of the land and its history.
