How are San Juan County schools meeting the COVID-19 crisis?

Updated: Nov 11, 2020

Prior to the Nov. 8 San Juan County Schools COVID-19 Response Forum (click HERE to register), former San Juan Island School District Superintendent Michael Soltman of SJICN interviewed several San Juan County school leaders about their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those interviews, which took place in August before the school year began, are broken into five segments and can be viewed below.

On Sunday, November 8th at 1pm, school leaders from San Juan County schools will join SJICN for a Virtual Forum to discuss school responses to the COVID-19 crisis, and explore challenges and opportunities for student, staff and community safety moving forward.

Register for the San Juan County Schools COVID-19 Response Forum by clicking HERE

(Registration is free but capped at the first 100 attendees)

The public forum, hosted by SJICN virtually via Zoom, will cover how schools throughout San Juan County have handled the COVID-19 crisis to this point. It will also offer the opportunity for islanders to raise questions and concerns heading into the holiday season and beyond.
